This Fall, my Daughter and I attended a fund raising event through A Child's Place an organization that supports homeless children in our local community. The event was called "Sharing with Shoes", where 800 pairs of new shoes were donated for the children. Mini Couper was a sponsor and all of the shoes were placed in a new Mini Couper for display.
Our Friends were with us that have a son my Daughter's age. They were holding a raffle and gave away a Mini Couper Tricycle. Our Friends, Son Jackson won the Tricycle and my Daughter flipped out because she didn't win. They argued back and forth , and in the end we decided to donate the bike to A Child's Place. At that moment, it hit me children would be our area of focus for Charlove. And I thought about how privileged our children are. While 4000 Charlotte children are homeless and many are without clothing, shoes and food and basic school supplies.
Please consider opening your heart donating time, resources or money to A Child's Place. They are doing great work with the children of Charlotte.
